Our AST + CO vision is "to inspire your little humans and help familes enjoy mealtimes together."

Hi and welcome to AST + CO. I'm Tien, mum of two boys and the owner of AST + CO. In 2016 I gave birth to my first son and before we knew it, he was six months old and ready to start solids. We introduced solids via Baby Led Weaning (BLW) and found, like many parents, that it all became very messy very quickly and there was a real lack of clever designs that minimized mess but still kept the style aesthetics of the home BC (before children!).

We joke that it took my husband throwing out his back picking up so much food off the floor for AST + CO to be born in 2017. From the moment we started using the Tidy tot, we knew that it was a gamechanger for busy parents of messy babies in Australia and that it could help families enjoy mess free meal times together.

Since then, we've added to our AST + CO family with our second son and our range has also expanded to incorporate the evolving needs of parents, babies, toddlers and pre-school kids.

As parents of two young kids, we ourselves know mealtimes can be a struggle so we're dedicated to helping families enjoy mealtimes together by carefully curating a range of fun, quality and cleverly designed children's eatware that support local Australian businesses and international brands who share our ethos and vision for simple, gender neutral practical designs made from quality materials and a deep alignment with our philosophy.
